hey guys, just to let you know i work for an authorised flexifoil dealer, we sell anything from bullets to storms.

there are restrictions on what we sell and to whom we sell our products to. staff cannot sell kites unless they themselves have been given training on the kites and how to use them in a safe and appropriate manner, that to us is the most important.

i have refused to sell kites to amature/novice flyers firstly because when a novice comes to buying his/her first kite they dont know the first thing about kites which gives some retailers the opportunity to take advanage.
i advise first time flyers to actually learn the theory of kiting by researching and trying out other peoples kites first and then try to get a picture of what they wanna gain from kiting then sell the right kite for the individual appropriatly, lemme know if you have anything else to add

what you have to watch out for is internet kite buying because really there are no real restricions on age and experience in kite buying. my retailer specialises in clothing rather than kite selling so we dont really need the profit of kite selling however there is a market out there. whereas other kite retailers main money market is to sell as many kites as possible and sometimes ignore saftey measures for it.
