Currently the places to fly are Hartam Common in Hertford, and Angerlands at Hatfield.

Hartham Common is especially good with an Easterly wind, any wind with and easterly element is ok, but dead East is best, this space is shared with dog walkers, football teams etc as it is a public open space. It is best to fly as far away from the sports centre as possible which means parking in the car park at the bottom of Marshgate drive. There is plenty of space to fly, boarding and Buggying are both possible, during the football season it is best to avoid match times for obvious reasons.

There is a local group who fly there they are known as the Hertford and Hatfield flyers and have a home on the web of www.hhflyers.tk

Angerlands at Hatfield does not have any parking, but space is usually available in Bishops rise, the field belongs to the University but flying is allowed. The field is large and seems to suit a lot of wind directions, buggying and boarding are possible, and the Uni seem to keep the grass cut!
