Dunno if I should tell ya this or we'll get mobbed....lol
Hartlepool (Seaton Carew) Pic of beach (click)
We fly at Seaton Carew beach at Hartlepool in the North-East of England. You have about a 2 mile run on the beach depending on how busy it is. No restrictions (as yet). But we tend to keep away from the main part of the beach, and fly from in front of the car park where the sewage works is, and then along in front of the dunes towards the Blue Lagoon. We leave the main bit to the sand castle makers etc. Please don't fly if there's too many people about, as we wouldn't like to attract a ban.
Toilets & Parking
Toilets are nearby, located below the bus station clock tower next to the beach. They're very clean, free, and attended by an attendant at all times. A large car park is near the sewage works, and parking is free.
EDIT:
Forgot to add. Best wind direction is NE or SW at Seaton Carew. NE gives you a nice onshore which let you have the full run of the beach each way. SW can be a bit gusty as it's coming off the land, but still gives you a straight run up and down the beach.
Redcar Pic of beach (click)
This is across the estuary from Hartlepool, and also gives 2 mile or so of beach to buggy and board on. You park in the large car park (Majuba) at Coatham Sands, and the agreement is that flying is done to the left of the car park, along the line of the dunes towards the estuary. The bit in front, and to the right of the car park is left for the public / sunbathers etc.
Toilets and Parking
Toilets are available at the end of Majuba car park, near the Mungle Jungle skate park. They're a bit dilapidated, and graffiti covered, but serve their purpose if you watch what you're doing. The car park has a fee from May to September of 2.10 a day. Outside of these times (off-season) it's free.
Both those pics are looking from the edge of the flying area towards the bit the public uses.
EDIT:
For up and down the beach runs at Redcar you want a North or North-Easterly for onshore, and a South, or south-westerly for offshore, depending which part of the beach you are on (it curves). Offshore can be gusty due to turbulence off the Cleveland Hills in the background.
