If you mean a turn where you're really accelerating out of the turn, you simply turn the kite down and under as you start to turn the buggy towards the kite.
Make sure your at a snails pace when practicing this turn, as the powerup you get will suprise you and more than likely will pull you straight out the buggy, if your not practically facing the kite when it powers up. It takes practice, but once you get the timing right, its a load more fun. BTW your lines will have one twist in them, but if you do the same again on the return journey, that will undo the twist. Power slides are also fun
Would practice these on a surface with minimum grip like wet grass, or hard sand with a slight covering of soft sand. I find that for big power slides, down turn the kite as Bill described but turn the buggy just B4 u turn the kite, so the kite is lagging slightly behind you, as u come out of the turn it will drag the back end side ways. Just dont put the kite 2 far behind or it will drag u backwards or more than likly out of the buggy. And be ready to corect the buggy with the steering to stop u ending up facing the wrong way. Practice these at slower speeds first but u will need a farily powered up kite later on to achive bigger slides. With anything new start out slow n build up the speed. But remmember only do things that ur comfortable doing. |
