Hi Guys,
Complete newbie to this site and relative newbie to Power Kiting, just a couple of months now. I've got a Beamer 3.6, just brought out by invento-hq. Nice kite. Steady and not too fast in the winds but still quite powerful and a Little Rascal MTB.
Now I've been down the local beach (and those of you from the UK its the north end of the Wirral between Wales and Liverpool), and I've been watching the fellas on buggies tacking against the wind i.e. the wind goes north and they go east to west then swap over and come back on themselves.
The problem i'm having is trying to pull the board east to west while the wind is traveling north. AM i just crap at this and most other people can do it? I can go fwd but when you get to the end of the beach (and pretty quickly in good weather) you face a good 1 mile run back with an unpacked kite and a board on your back.
Any ideas or criticisms would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Mboto
