Welcome to the forum. If you're a smallish guy, and fairly lightweight then the board should be ok. Thing is it's a kids board so quite short compared to normal sizes, so your feet are closer together than a normal stance. I know that description says it's used by freestylers now too. While it may be, they'd probably be using a more expensive board if they were using one of a similar size.

If you aren't very tall it may still be ok for you, although I'm only 5'6" and my sons board (same size, different make), feels too cramped for me when I've stood on it. I prefer my feet further apart. Not that I board, as I snapped my knee boarding just under 2yrs ago, so stick to buggying now...lol

The kite should be ok. Beamers are a bit underpowered compared to other kites, size for size, but this can be a good thing. They're well behaved, so should be good for learning on.

As for the restrictions at St Annes, you're right, they're still on. They sound like they're getting somewhere near a result, although it will probably involve joining a club. Probably later in the year.

I think we have some people on here who may be around your area, have to see who else replies. You're the other side of the country from me I'm afraid.
