I've recently acquired a 3m Buster which I'm having great fun with as a first power kite. I've flown it in a few different wind strengths and have generally found it stable and predictable.
Anyway the wind last night was pretty strong so I set the bridle to 'low angle of attack' setting on the first knot and found the kite very hard to control. It wouldn't fly to the zenith and was hard to hold at the edge of the window, constantly blowing back and forwards. Just wondering which knot settings other buster flyers find the kite performs best with?
The other question (well I have a few but will keep it simple to start) is that the handles are joined by a single main leader line that loops through the handles. It looks too short to hook through a harness plus I find it a bit restricting and one more thing to get tangled. Is there any reason why I shouldn't just cut it to separate the handles?
Any advice much appreciated. ta
