just noticed Bill that most of the threads are reading that new posts have happened today,11th, on inspection they havent, is this just a internet glitch or is there something deeper going wrong, just an observation,,, on reading this mate delete the thread

Yeah I noticed that too, thought me computer was playing up...lol
Then I noticed FFM had spammed all the forums, but fixed the date to show as posted on the 7th somehow...sneaky...lol

still needs something on the main page tellin me if someone else has posted, cant just look at the times,, is it possible to do that bill?? that way i havent gotta trawl throo all the stuff ive already read to see if anyone has posted after me,oh plus a whos online link would be nice, that way i know i aint talkin to myself as usual

I dont have the ability to make those type of changes, but maybe when eZboard upgrade to their next version that will be included.
There is however a who online, but its only displayed on the main page of the forum, just below the login / logout link. It doesnt tell you whos online in a particular topic. As for the main page, if you mark the forum as read and someone posts in that topic it may or may not be a reply to your post, but one click into the topic should then show you if its a reply or not. Once in the topic it tells you who last posted. So on main page you get a new post icon and in the topic page it then tells you the poster. I know you would prefer to know the last poster on the main page, but.....that doesnt tell you if someones replied to your post before the last poster....does that make sense? Regards Bill |
